Course Name: STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN HEALTH INSTITUTIONS

Course description: Basic concepts of strategic management; strategic management model; situational analysis (mission, vision, values, goals, general and health environment and service area analysis and internal environment analysis); developing alternative strategies (directional, adaptation, market entry, competition), evaluating alternatives and choosing a strategy; implementation of the chosen strategy (development of service delivery and support strategies and unit action plans); developing strategic thinking maps to guide strategic momentum at every stage.
