Course description: Food groups (milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, vegetables and fruits; cereals and bread, fats and sugars), nutrients (carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, vitamins, minerals, water), chemical structures, classification, functions, resources, recommended daily intake values, excessive intake and toxicities, energy metabolism, nutrition in special cases (pregnant-lactating nutrition; worker nutrition; 0-1 year-old child nutrition; adolescent nutrition; elderly nutrition).
