Biography:
Yusuf Orcan, born in Paphos Southern Cyprus in 1955, graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Middle East Technical University in 1979 and completed his master’s and doctorate degrees at the Middle East Technical University .He also received the title of professor in 2007 at the Middle East Technical University. He has many researches on mechanics and physics. Prof. Orcan, who worked at the Middle East Technical University Ankara and North Cyprus campuses, was a very popular academic among his students.
