Biography:
He was born on 05/03/1948 in Cevreli Village of Antalya. He graduated from Yıldız Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department with mechanical engineer degree.
Following his graduation in 1975, he started to work as project evaluation specialist in the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology General Directorate of Incentive and Implementation. After his military service, he started to work in Denizli Chamber of Industry as mechanical engineer. He formed his own private project consultancy office and undertake several engineering projects providing consultancy services to the private sector and public institutions seeking investment incentives from Turkish government. Later, he carried out the works of the implementation of the natural gas conversion projects that started in Istanbul with the engineering company he founded, and the project design and construction of wastewater and clean water treatment plants of various public and private institutions. He has investments in the construction, and food sectors.
He was closely interested in politics since his youth. He served as Refah Party Provincial Board Member, Refah Party Istanbul Maltepe District Municipal Council Member.
Married and father of five children, he likes spending time with his family, having conversations on hometown issues, traveling to explore the unique nature of the countryside, and listen classical Turkish music
