Course Name: Medical Biology and Genetics

Course description: Living system, biomolecules, cell structure and functions, energy metabolism, the nature of genetic material, DNA packaging and chromosome structure, RNA structure, synthesis and function, genetic code and protein synthesis, basic principles of heredity and Mendel inheritance in human, cell cycle and cell division, mutation, genetic basis of cancer, molecular genetic basis.
