Course Title : Practical Training
Course Description:During the summer session between the 3rd and 4th year, the student works at an organized crop, animal or food productionunit or research centre.
The unit/centre must be relevant to the specialization option chosen by the students and must be approved by the Department.
At the end of the training period the Head of the unit/centre supervising the student, must prepare and submit a report regarding the student’sparticipation, degree of learning and performance.
The student must orally present the experience and skills and the knowledge gained during the on-the-job practice before a two-member staffcommittee.
The committee decides whether the student’s Practical is “satisfactory” or “non–satisfactory”. In the latter case, the student is obliged to repeat thepractical training in the following year.
